A free ERP for Omani companies — the shop, the store and the books
One system for a business with a counter in Muscat and a store behind it, counting in rials and baisa to three decimal places.
Start free — two minutes
Counter and store
The till sells and the store empties — one movement, not two entries.
Rials and baisa
A thousand baisa to the rial: three decimal places, everywhere.
Buying in
Orders, partial deliveries and supplier bills that settle what arrived.
What it is worth
Stock valued as it moves, so the books and the shelves agree.
A thousand baisa to the rial, and the software has to know
The Omani rial divides into a thousand baisa, so money here is written with three decimal places rather than two. A system that quietly rounds to two loses a fraction on every line, and the loss is invisible until an accountant asks why the stock account and the shelves disagree by a figure nobody can trace.
Remotly counts in the currency the company chose, with that currency's own number of digits, from the till screen through to the trial balance. It is a small piece of correctness, and it is the piece that decides whether a year of transactions still reconciles.
The stock is the business
For a trading company — building materials, spare parts, foodstuffs, electronics — the stock is where the money sits, and a spreadsheet cannot tell you what it is worth. Remotly records every quantity as a movement between places, so nothing appears from nowhere: goods come from the supplier onto the shelf, leave the shelf for the customer, and the quantities across every location always add to zero.
On top of that it keeps a value: first in first out, moving average, or a standard cost you set per category. Goods arriving increase the stock asset, goods sold move that value to cost of sales, and the balance in the ledger equals what is actually on the shelves. That number is the one a bank or a partner asks for, and it is available on any day rather than after a stocktake.
- More than one store: a shop in Muscat, a warehouse in Sohar, a van that carries stock.
- Transfers between them that reserve the goods until they are delivered.
- Reorder proposals per product and per location, rounded to whole cases.
- Stock counts recorded as movements, so a shortage leaves a trail instead of an edit.
Set up for the trade you are in
When the company is created you say what it does — a restaurant, a grocery, a garage, a pharmacy, a perfume house, a contractor — and Remotly installs the apps that trade needs and sets shop hours rather than office hours. A business that never needs a dining room never sees one.
Common questions
Does it work with the Omani rial?
Yes, to three decimal places — baisa are not rounded away. You choose the currency when you create the company.
Can I run more than one branch or warehouse?
Yes. As many stock locations as you need with their own balances, and branches each with their own timezone, working days and holiday calendar.
What does it cost?
The free plan has no cap on users and needs no credit card. Paid plans add power-user features; see the pricing page.
