Dinars and fils
Three decimal places everywhere — the till, the invoice, the ledger and the report.
Sell and invoice
A counter till for a shop, and proper invoices for the companies you supply.
Know your stock
What is on the shelf, what is in the store, and what needs ordering this week.
Attendance
A record per employee, Amman time, and a Friday-Saturday week if that is yours.
Software that loses a fils a sale is software that loses money
The Jordanian dinar is written with three decimal places. Almost every business system built elsewhere assumes two, and the assumption is silent: a price of 12.345 is stored as 12.35, an invoice of a hundred lines drifts by several hundred fils, and a customer paying half in cash and half on a card is refused by arithmetic nobody can see on the screen.
Remotly asks for the company's currency when the company is created, and counts in it — three places for the dinar, on the till screen, on the invoice, in the ledger and in every report. Amounts are held as exact decimals and rounded once, rather than passed through the kind of arithmetic that turns 0.1 plus 0.2 into 0.30000000000000004.
For the shop, the workshop and the company that supplies both
A lot of Jordanian businesses sell two ways at once: over a counter to whoever walks in, and on account to companies that expect an invoice and pay later. Those are usually two systems and one reconciliation nobody enjoys. In Remotly they are one: the till records the walk-in sale, an invoice is issued from a sale the moment a customer asks for one, and both land in the same ledger under the same customer record.
- A counter till, and a tax invoice issued from any sale on request.
- Stock that moves out as you sell and back in when you refund.
- Purchase orders, partial deliveries, and supplier bills that do not double-charge.
- Branches in Amman, Irbid and Aqaba inside one company, each with its own working week.
Arabic first, English when you need it
Jordan runs a great deal of business in English — outsourcing, technology, services sold abroad — while the shop floor, the warehouse and the accounts run in Arabic. Remotly is written in Arabic with real right-to-left layout and is fully English at the same time, so the storekeeper and the export manager use one system, each in their own language, over the same data.
Common questions
Does it handle the Jordanian dinar properly?
Yes — three decimal places throughout, chosen from the company's currency rather than hard-coded. A split payment adds up to the last fils.
Is it certified for Jordanian e-invoicing?
No. Remotly issues an invoice carrying the tax rates your company configures and makes no compliance claim for any country's e-invoicing regime.
Does it calculate end-of-service or statutory leave?
No. It tracks leave against the policy your company configures and asserts no statutory figures. Refer to the applicable law and your internal regulations.
